CPP20207 Certificate II in Security Operations

This combined course is the qualification required to work as either a Crowd Contoller and/or Unarmed Guard.

- Crowd Controllers generally work in nightclubs, pubs and major events such as sporting events, music concerts, festivals and any places where crowds occur.

- Unarmed Guards work in a broad range of environments such as Supermarkets, Retail Centres, Schools, Hospitals, Buildings etc. The aim being to protect property, assets and people.

Crowd Controllers and Unarmed Guards must be properly trained and licensed to gain employment to work in the field.

CPP30411 Certificate III in Security Operations

This course is designed for those in the Security sector who are looking to undertake more senior Security Guard functions and supervise others.

Participants may include:
- Current workers in the Security industry wishing to
add to their career opportunities
- Students who wish to continue study after the
CPP20207 to increase their employment opportunities.

This course is the direct pathway for students who have completed the CPP20207/CPP20211 course which is designed for entry level into the security industry.

The course covers legislative requirements in relation to the Security Industry, Customer Service, Teamwork, Communication and Negotiation Skills, Risk Management, Reporting Security Incidents and Incident Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Emergency Procedures and Evacuation of Premises.
